THANK YOU.

I just wanted to say a humongous THANK YOU to the readers of this blog.  You're the ones who care.  And we sincerely appreciate it.  More than we could ever express.
Many of you ask how my parents are doing.  As good as can be expected is my answer.  They have been amazingly patient through all of this and continue to show the kind of love all parents should have.  Despite the choices Burk has made and the things he has done, my parents love him.  Always.  No matter what.  He's ridiculously lucky to have them as parents.
They've endured a lot.  And unfortunately have more to endure.  But they are two of the strongest people to ever walk this planet so I know they can do whatever comes their way.
Our entire family is grateful to those of you who have offered your support, time, resources, prayers, help, advice, etc.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Burk will live to see more days.  How many is hard to tell.  He's stubborn.  And change, especially such a monumental change, is hard for anyone.  He still has a very long road ahead.  A lot to overcome.  Which is possible, but......
Time will tell.
